South America Sales Manager – Rio de Janeiro/Brazil
We are looking for a Salesperson to join our Sales team at our Rio de Janeiro office.
About the role:
In this position you will work with one leading global software company. Since launching in 2011 the solution has been a driving force behind the digitalization of energy industry logistics and supply chain. This software solution simplifies workflows, facilitates collaboration and streamlines operations – Efficiently reducing costs and carbon footprint.
Today it is used by 40 plus operators all around the world. Among customers are ExxonMobil, Equinor, Shell, Total BP, Repsol.
Responsibilities
- Target a strategic growth plan and navigate software sales towards regional dominance.
- Implement the system to the new customers, train and advise end-users.
- Drive customer success by optimizing value created from using the system.
- Bridge the gap between customer’s needs, technical development and identify business opportunities within this space.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in sales (minimum of 5 years). Focused towards the major oil companies.
- Proven work experience with offshore industry, primarily drilling segment and/or logistics and supply chain.
- Proven track record from similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline, or relevant on-the-job experience.
Skills
- Fluent English/Portuguese written and spoken, and Spanish will be preferred.
- Personal drive and team player capabilities.
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
