Norwegian based, Anda-Olsen has developed a hybrid system that reduces diesel consumption and thus also emissions. Other benefits are a reduced need for service on the generator and increased uptime on the generator, which is ensured once it is in use.

By reducing the operating time of a generator by 15-20 hours a day, a typical generator of 150 kVA can save between 40- and 45,000 liters of diesel.
