IFA Tech supplies the I-Mat thermal insulation mat to the maritime, offshore, subsea and energy sectors. M&O connects this product to buyers across these markets.
The I-Mat releases minimal dust during handling and installation. This matters for enclosed or ventilation-sensitive areas on vessels, platforms and process facilities. In addition, its thermal conductivity coefficient can reach 0.016 W/m·K at room temperature. That figure sits below still air. As a result, the I-Mat performs well wherever minimizing heat transfer is critical.
The I-Mat 220 variant adds surface hydrophobicity to the base product. At room temperature, it reaches a hydrophobic rate of 99%. Therefore, the mat surface resists moisture absorption. This helps maintain insulation stability in humid or wet environments, common in marine and offshore operations. Consequently, sustained thermal performance depends less on ambient moisture.
The I-Mat carries a Grade A1 fire rating, the highest classification for non-combustibility in standard fire testing. Operators and EPC contractors can therefore evaluate the I-Mat against strict fire safety requirements on vessels, FPSOs and offshore installations.
IFA Tech’s I-Mat combines low dust release, high hydrophobicity in the 220 variant, and Grade A1 fire performance. Talk to an M&O expert to discuss technical datasheets and sourcing for your project.
