Proven Swivel Technology for Completion deployment and WBCU operations
Toolserv`s latest product is the Longstroke Reamer. During lower completion runs, obstructions (micro-doglegs, swelling formations, cavings, tight spots) often prevent the string from reaching TD. Traditional solutions need rotating/circulating, increasing torque, stick-slip, twist-off risk, NPT & damage to completions.
The Longstroke is a robust automatic rotating reamer guiding the string smoothly past obstructions without string rotation or circulation. Fully compatible with all completions. On compression it delivers up to 4 controlled revolutions to ream through, then spring-resets. Ratcheting ensures one-way rotation only, preventing left-hand torque & twist-off risk. Protected spring avoids catching in windows/whipstocks.
Toolserv also offers the Screen Saver Valve™, a premium completion valve designed to enhance well integrity and prevent unwanted influx of fluids, gas, or sand throughout the well lifecycle. With more than 320 valves delivered across 19 fields, the solution has established a strong track record in projects operated by major companies such as Equinor, Aker BP, Vår Energi, Neptune Energy, and ExxonMobil Guyana.
Among its flagship technologies is the Drag Reduction Swivel (DRS) family, developed to facilitate the deployment of liners and completions in extended-reach, high-angle, and horizontal wells. Available in hydraulic, mechanical, and a unique adjustable torque limiter configurations, the system helps reduce friction, improve weight transfer, mitigate buckling risks, and ensure strings reach target depth safely and efficiently.
