As the Category Sales Lead for Insulation & Coating, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and building lasting client relationships. You’ll be responsible for achieving sales targets, shaping the future of our category strategy, and making a direct contribution to our company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the maritime and offshore industries to drive business growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with established Brazilian end-customers and potential new suppliers.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set, meet, and aim to exceed sales goals, consistently contributing to the overall success of the company.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Relations, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the maritime and offshore industry, preferably in sales, supply chain, or technical areas.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technical insulation and/or coating for offshore platforms in Brazil.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system tools.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
  • Location: Based in Rio de Janeiro or willing to relocate.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Results-Driven: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with OIC, platform owners, shipowners, and shipyards is a strong plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM/ERP systems, international logistics, import/export processes, and event management is advantageous.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Petronect, SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Shipserv is a plus.
