Business & Finance Consultant
Job summary:
The Business & Finance Consultant will be responsible for overseeing and working closely with team members in client projects, ensuring compliance with tax, accounting, and import regulations, as well as accounting matters. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in finance, accounting, and Brazilian taxation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate fluently in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure compliance with local tax, accounting, payroll, hiring regulations, and import tax laws for clients
- Provide expert guidance on financial and tax regulations, including corporate taxes, payroll, and import taxes, helping international clients navigate the complexities of establishing and growing their business in Brazil.
- Oversee financial management, including cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring clients maintain financial stability and meet business goals.
- Collaborate with internal team members and client representatives to develop effective strategies for above mentioned topics.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, providing proactive advice and ensuring clients remain compliant.
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, accurate reporting, and alignment with client objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, tax, and import compliance, including project management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations, payroll compliance, employment laws, and import tax regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Experience working with financial software, specifically Microsoft Navision, for accounting, tax reporting, and financial analysis, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
