This technology changes how a vessel handles power delivery. Ingeteam’s systems support optimal design of the propeller, with maximum torque available at any speed and optimum response during acceleration phases. Vessels equipped with this technology see minimum vibration, minimum noise and reduced CO2 emissions compared to conventional arrangements. Operating costs fall as well, since the architecture requires less mechanical maintenance over the vessel lifecycle.

Ingeteam’s design flexibility allows tailored solutions for special vessel requirements, rather than fixed configurations. Ingeteam supplies these systems with power ratings of up to 15,000 kW, engineered for integration into shipyard newbuild programs. Design work runs from propeller sizing through to power distribution on board.
