Tasik Southern Star propelled by VSP is nominated for the Subsea Innovation Award
The Tasik DSV Southern Star has been nominated for the prestigious “Subsea Innovation Award” by the Offshore Support Journal. The support offshore vessel (OSV) is propelled by two Voith Schneider Propeller VSP in the stern. It has a 150 tonne safe working load and a knuckleboom subsea crane. Furthermore it has a 22.20 m diameter helideck for fast transfer of crew and operating staff. The OSV can accommodate 120 personnel.
