New Petrobras Contracting Rules

New Contracting Regulations

As from May 15, the new Petrobras contracting rules, in compliance with Brazilian Law 13.303/16 and RLCP, became valid for all Petrobras Operating Units.

The new regulations determine that all contracting must be carried out through public bidding, which means that the contracting takes place through bids that are open to any interested party that can meet the requirements set forth in the call for bids.

Petrobras expects that the new contracting rules will increase transparency and participation in contracting.

All opportunities for contracting goods and services published by Petrobras are now publicly accessible at Petronect Portal.

In order to allow prior evaluation of companies that intend to participate in the contracting processes, it is still needed to apply for the Registration of Suppliers of Goods and Services of Petrobras. Being a registered supplier, a company wil be able to easily prove its ability to participate in bids and contracting processes.

M&O facilitates CRC Registration (in the Corporate Registry) and SRS Registration (in the Simplified Registry).
